Laboratory Catalog (PPLCAT)
PPLCAT, the online catalog of the Harold P. Furth Library at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory , contains bibliographic citations for journal articles, technical reports, and conference proceedings in the fields of plasma physics and controlled nuclear fusion. The entire collection of laboratory reports from Project Matterhorn (MATT) and current PPPL reports are part of PPLCAT, with full-text available for PPPL reports since 1995. Entry of records began on July 1, 1986, and the database contains 45,525 bibliographic records as of December 2008. PPLCAT was designed to serve the needs of the staff at Princeton Plasma Physics Laboratory on the Forrestal campus. Princeton University faculty, staff and students may visit the library or request material from it through any branch of the Princeton University Libraries system. Department of Energy facilities may obtain material directly from the Harold P. Furth Library. All other non-Princeton borrowers should use their institutions' interlibrary loan services.Comments or questions may be sent to ppllib@princeton.edu

Take the PPLCat Survey!
The Furth Library is working on an initiative to migrate relevant parts of the PPLCat (short for PPPL Catalog) database into the Princeton University Library system’s Main Catalog. We have created a short web survey to assess the usage of the PPLCat, including what is searched for in the database and how searches are performed. It is hoped that this information will provide useful input to make informed decisions of what content will be migrated into the Main Catalog. Your input is welcome and appreciated. Please take a moment to fill out this brief survey and help inform our decision.
