Training and Meeting Rooms
Firestone Staff Conference Room
(A-3-C)
Purpose:
The purpose of the Staff Conference Room is staff training and development
programs and library meetings. It is appropriate also for computer demonstrations
where there is no "hand-on" component. It can be reserved for use
by all Princeton University Library staff.
Equipment:

instructor's workstation: Dell computer with Microsoft Windows XP service pack 2

data projector

five rectangular tables which can be arranged in a U-shape, row, chevron,
or other pattern

nineteen captain's chairs for use around the tables

Maximum number of chairs for audience style seating: 80

lectern with light

chalkboard

easel with paper and pens

Responsibilities of trainer:
- Describe in the online reservation form how the tables and chairs should
be set up (e.g. hollow square, audience style, etc.). The default
setup is hollow square.

Ensure that room and instructor's computer are set up appropriately.

Arrange for deliveries of refreshments and ensure that the room is
cleared of food remains.

Close all applications and log off the instructor's workstation and turn the monitor off at the end of each session.

Turn off projection equipment and lights at the end of each session.

Lock door at the end of each session.

Return the key to the appropriate location.

Room Reservations, then use the online
Room
Reservation Form.
