Training and Meeting Rooms
Rare Books and Special Collections East Classroom
Purpose:
The East Classroom is located in the Rare Books and Special Collections
area of Firestone on the second floor, next to the Library HR offices.
Its primary use is for faculty instruction and class orientations, but
it may also be reserved for Library staff use. In order to reserve first
priority for the faculty, the room can be reserved by Library staff only
one week in advance of the actual meeting. Urgent use by faculty
might require rescheduling.
For meetings of library staff the choices should be in this order: East Classroom, West Classroom, Seminar Room, and only as a last resort,
the Taylor Room.
Equipment:

conference table with seating for ten

data projector

pull down screen for using the data projector

a white board and easel, with paper and pens
Responsibilities of Trainers

Pick up key from Jane Snedeker in Rare Books, or from the Library HR
office

Ensure that there is NO food or drink in the room.

Ensure that room is left LOCKED, and in the condition in which it was
found.

It is ESSENTIAL that the key be returned to Jane Snedeker in Rare Books
or to the Library HR OFfice
