Firestone Multi-purpose Room
(Staff Lounge)
The new multi-purpose room located in the Staff Lounge, Firestone Library. The rooms primary purpose is for Library related meetings and instruction. It is equipped with a 52" flat panel TV that can be connected to a laptop for presentations and used for video conferencing. It has moveable tables so the room configuration can be rearranged to sit around tables or in audience style.
- Room is accessible either through the staff lounge, or with a door key that opens up A-3-C via the west atrium bridge
- Room has:
- Podium for instruction
- 8 tables put together to form one large conference table, that can accommodate 14
- Room can accommodate up to 24 people if set up audience style
- 52" flat panel with easy computer hookup
- Video conference camera unit
- Room is not intended for regular lunch seating
- Moveable partition wall will always be closed, but can be opened upon request for large events incorporating the staff lounge
- After your meeting/class is done, the room is to be put back in the same setup as you found it
- Be aware of the schedule. If someone is coming in after you, make sure you adjourn your meeting in a timely manner as not to hold up the people coming in after you
- There is Tandberg video conferencing equipment in the room
- Nothing is to be stored in the room
Please remember that this rooms primary purpose is for Library related meetings and instruction. If you have reserved the room for any other purpose you will be bumped so the room can be used for official use.
